Jende 0.25 Micron 1x6 Nanocloth Strop (Unloaded), 5mm Thick Acrylic Mounted

Jende Nanocloth Ultra bench strops are at the forefront of knife stropping technology! These 1"x6" Nanocloth strops are backed by a 5mm thick, color-coded acrylic piece and mounted on a standard 1x6 steel blank that fits various guided sharpening systems, including Edge Pro, Jende JIGS for Knives, Hapstone, and TSProf.

The unique color-coding system makes it easy to identify the grit of the strop without constantly flipping it over. The available grit sizes are: 15 Micron (White), 12 Micron (Black), 8 Micron (Lime), 4 Micron (Fuchsia), 2 Micron (Purple), 1 Micron (Blue), 0.5 Micron (Red), 0.25 Micron (Green), 0.10 Micron (Yellow), and 0.025 Micron (Orange). It's important to note that these strops do not come with Jende's Poly Diamond or CBN Emulsions.

The Jende Nanocloth Ultra is a synthetic stropping material with a seamless, uniform surface. Unlike woven strops, which can exhibit noticeable resistance changes, the Nanocloth provides consistent feedback in all directions, allowing for a more precise stropping experience.

The strops' unique honeycomb structure helps to retain more abrasive on the surface, preventing it from being deposited on the knife. The shape of the honeycomb also creates a "snow-shoe" effect, resulting in even scratches during the stropping process. The depth of the honeycomb structure offers less compression compared to leather, allowing for differential pressure to be used for a range of stropping aggressiveness, from light finishing strokes to more aggressive edge-setting strokes.

The color-coded acrylic base makes it easy to instantly recognize the desired grit strop, saving time and reducing confusion. The laser-etched identification marks ensure long-lasting and clear labeling.

These Jende Nanocloth Ultra strops are compatible with the company's Poly Diamond Sprays, Poly Diamond Emulsions, and CBN Emulsions, providing a versatile and effective sharpening and honing solution for knife enthusiasts and professionals alike.
