Jende Nanocloth Ultra bench strops are on the cutting edge of knife stropping technology! Each Nanocloth strop, measuring 1"x6", is backed by a 5mm thick piece of color-coded acrylic and mounted on a standard 1x6 steel blank that is compatible with popular guided sharpening systems like Edge Pro, Jende JIGS for Knives, Hapstone, and TSProf.

The color-coded acrylic base allows for instant identification of the desired grit, eliminating the need to constantly flip over the strop. The grit colors are as follows: 15 Micron (White), 12 Micron (Black), 8 Micron (Lime), 4 Micron (Fuchsia), 2 Micron (Purple), 1 Micron (Blue), 0.5 Micron (Red), 0.25 Micron (Green), 0.10 Micron (Yellow), and 0.025 Micron (Orange).

The Jende Nanocloth Ultra is a synthetic stropping material with a unique honeycomb structure that offers consistent feedback in all directions. Unlike traditional woven strops, which can exhibit noticeable resistance changes, the Nanocloth provides a uniform experience, similar to a consistent vacuum across a rug.

The honeycomb structure allows the abrasive emulsions to fill the individual cells, keeping more of the abrasive on the strop and off your knife. This "snow-shoe effect" produces even scratches during the stropping process. The depth of the honeycomb structure also contributes to less compression compared to leather, providing more control over the aggression of the strop.

It is important to note that the Jende Nanocloth Ultra strops do not come with the company's Poly Diamond or CBN Emulsions. However, they work equally well with these products, as well as the Jende Poly Diamond Sprays.
