Gritomatic Silicon Carbide Sharpening Stone Set for Edge Pro

Gritomatic Sharpening Stones are designed for use with Edge Pro sharpeners to sharpen knives. These stones are composed of silicon carbide and are suitable for the hardest steels, up to 65 HRC. All the stones are 6 mm thick and mounted on high-quality aluminum blanks with laser engraving.

It is recommended to use Gritomatic stones for sharpening knives made of hard stainless steel or carbon steel. However, using Gritomatic stones to sharpen knives made of soft steel is not advised, as it will accelerate the wear on the stones. Nonetheless, the coarse Gritomatic stones with 120 and 220 grit can be employed as a universal stone due to their stronger bonding.

The Stone Set includes grits of 120, 240, 600, 1000, and 2500 (JIS). These silicon carbide stones are designed for use with hard steels and are compatible with sharpening systems such as Edge Pro, Hapstone, and TSProf. It is essential to use these stones with water for optimal performance.

The working surface of each stone is 152 x 25 x 6 mm (6" x 1" x 0.25"), and they are securely mounted on aluminum blanks.
