Jende 0.10 Micron 1x6 Nanocloth Strop (unloaded)-5mm thick Acrylic Mounted

Jende's Nanocloth Ultra bench strops are at the forefront of knife stropping technology! The 1"x6" Nanocloth strops are mounted on a 5mm thick, color-coded acrylic base and attached to a standard 1x6 steel blank, compatible with popular guided sharpening systems like Edge Pro, Jende JIGS for Knives, Hapstone, and TSProf.

Each color on the strops corresponds to a specific grit size of our Jende Diamond Emulsions, allowing for easy identification without the need to constantly flip the strop over. The grit sizes are as follows: 15 Micron (White), 12 Micron (Black), 8 Micron (Lime), 4 Micron (Fuchsia), 2 Micron (Purple), 1 Micron (Blue), 0.5 Micron (Red), 0.25 Micron (Green), 0.10 Micron (Yellow), and 0.025 Micron (Orange). Please note that these strops do not come with our Poly Diamond or CBN Emulsions.

The Jende Nanocloth Ultra is a synthetic stropping material with a unique, non-woven structure, ensuring consistent feedback in all directions. Unlike traditional woven strops, which can exhibit noticeable resistance changes, similar to a rug when vacuuming, the Nanocloth's honeycomb structure provides a more uniform and predictable stropping experience, helping you maintain confidence in your stropping stroke.

The honeycomb shape allows the abrasive emulsions to fill the individual cells, keeping more of the abrasive on the strop and off your knife. This design also creates a "snowshoe" effect, producing even scratches on the blade during stropping. The depth of the honeycomb structure also means there is less compression compared to leather strops, allowing for more precise control over the level of aggression by adjusting the pressure applied.

The color-coded acrylic base serves as a quick visual aid, enabling you to instantly recognize the grit strop you need, saving time and reducing confusion. The laser-etched identification marks are long-lasting and clear, further enhancing the usability of these strops.
