Jende Nanocloth Ultra bench strops are at the forefront of knife stropping technology! Backed on a 5mm thick piece of color-coded acrylic and mounted on a standard 1x6 steel blank, these 1"x6" Nanocloth strops are compatible with popular guided sharpeners such as Edge Pro, Jende JIGS for Knives, Hapstone, and TSProf.

The color-coding system of the Jende Nanocloth Ultra strops simplifies the selection process, as each color corresponds to a specific grit: 15 Micron (White), 12 Micron (Black), 8 Micron (Lime), 4 Micron (Fuchsia), 2 Micron (Purple), 1 Micron (Blue), 0.5 Micron (Red), 0.25 Micron (Green), 0.10 Micron (Yellow), and 0.025 Micron (Orange). This eliminates the need to constantly flip the strop to check the grit.

The Jende Nanocloth Ultra is a unique synthetic stropping material that features a seamless, non-woven design, ensuring consistent feedback in all directions. This sets it apart from traditional woven strops, which can exhibit noticeable resistance changes, similar to the experience of vacuuming a rug, potentially causing doubts about the stropping technique.

The honeycomb structure of the Jende Nanocloth Ultra is highly consistent, allowing the abrasive emulsions to fill the honeycomb cells and remain on the strop surface, rather than being transferred to the knife. This "snow-shoe effect" creates even scratches during the stropping process. The depth of the honeycomb structure also contributes to the strop's minimal compression, which is generally less than that of leather.

The depth of the honeycomb tubes enables the user to apply differential pressure to adjust the strop's aggressiveness. By applying more pressure, the strop becomes more aggressive, while super light strokes can be used for a gentler, finishing touch.

The color-coded acrylic base allows for instant recognition of the desired grit strop, saving time and reducing confusion. The laser-etched identification marks ensure long-lasting and clear grit information.
