The Jende Nanocloth Ultra bench strops represent the forefront of knife stropping technology. These 1”x6” strops feature a Nanocloth surface mounted on a 1x6 steel blank and backed by a 5mm thick piece of color-coded acrylic. This design ensures compatibility with standard Edge Pro, Jende JIGS for Knives, Hapstone, and TSProf guided sharpeners. Each strop is color-matched to correspond with our Jende Diamond Emulsions, eliminating the need to flip it over constantly to check the grit.

The grit colors are as follows: 15 Micron (White), 12 Micron (Black), 8 Micron (Lime), 4 Micron (Fuchsia), 2 Micron (Purple), 1 Micron (Blue), 0.5 Micron (Red), 0.25 Micron (Green), 0.10 Micron (Yellow), and 0.025 Micron (Orange). Notably, these strops do not include our Poly Diamond or CBN Emulsions.

The Jende Nanocloth Ultra utilizes a synthetic stropping material without a weave, ensuring consistent feedback in all directions. Unlike woven strops that can vary in feedback resistance (similar to vacuuming a rug), the honeycomb structure of the Nanocloth maintains uniform feedback. This honeycomb structure optimally retains abrasives, preventing excess from transferring to the knife during stropping.

The depth of the honeycomb structure allows for differential pressure application, enabling users to adjust the strop's aggression. By applying varying levels of pressure, from firm strokes for aggressive sharpening to light touches for fine finishing, users can achieve desired results effectively.
